We’ve been offering master’s and doctoral studies on the UMB campus since 1917. In addition to our master’s, doctoral, and post-baccalaureate certificate programs we offer dual degrees with the University's professional schools including PhD/MD, PhD/PharmD, and PhD/DDS degree programs, and participate in inter-institutional studies in biochemistry, gerontology, and toxicology with other University System of Maryland campuses.

As part of our continued commitment to building social justice, equity, and inclusion into the UMB School of Graduate Studies experience, we are deliberate about incorporating an understanding of social determinants of health, health equity, and EDI into our curriculum and research. We also offer programs such as the MS in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership and Graduate Certificate in Intercultural Leadership to educate the next generation of change-makers in the health and human service sciences.
