Bio

Fahren Nipple is a highly accomplished forensic science professional with a focus on forensic psychology, currently pursuing a Doctorate of Forensic Science at Oklahoma State University. She holds a Master of Science in Forensic Medicine from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from Albany State University (2020), where she also minored in Biology.

Currently, she serves as the Assistant Program Director of Forensic Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she assists in the oversight and development of the M.S. Forensic Medicine program. Her role involves teaching, advising, curriculum development, and program administration. Additionally, she has hands-on experience as an autopsy assistant with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, having performed over 2,500 autopsy eviscerations.

Her research contributions include work on the impact of COVID-19 on drug overdose deaths in Maryland, postmortem COVID-19 antigen rapid testing, and biological monitoring using zebrafish. She has presented her research at major conferences, including the University of Maryland Graduate School Annual Research Conference and Oregon State University.

With her extensive experience, research background, and leadership in forensic medicine, Fahren continues to make significant contributions to the field while advancing her academic and professional expertise.
