Adjunct Faculty, UMB Physician Assistant Program
Ashley earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2015 and has over a decade of experience as a Physician Assistant/Associate in hospital medicine, with additional expertise in nephrology and endocrinology in the long-term care setting.
Originally from the South, Ashley began her career practicing in rural Maryland, providing comprehensive inpatient care to diverse patient populations. Over the past 10 years, she has continued to serve in both clinical and academic roles, with a focus on hospital medicine and PA student education. Her professional interests include advancing the forward mobility of the PA profession, enhancing patient care through evidence-based hospital medicine practices, and developing innovative curriculum and assessment strategies for PA education.
