Advancing Health Through the Science of Human Genetics.

The Human Genetics and Genomic Medicine track provides broad training in human genetics at both the PhD and MS levels for students wanting to understand human genetic variation and its relation to health and disease. Through our core curriculum, students first receive a broad overview of the key areas of human genetics (molecular, biochemical, clinical, cytogenetics, and genetic epidemiology) and then specialize in their own particular areas of interest. The track utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to research training that involves a diverse set of faculty from throughout the campus.
