The Human Genetics and Genomic Medicine master's program provides broad training in human genetics for students wanting to understand human genetic variation and its relation to health and disease. Through our core curriculum, students first receive a broad overview of the key areas of human genetics (molecular, biochemical, clinical, cytogenetics, and genetic epidemiology) and then specialize in their own particular areas of interest. The track utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to research training that involves a diverse set of faculty from throughout the campus.
