According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of physician assistants is projected to grow 28% from 2023 to 2033, much faster than the average for all occupations, with approximately 12,900 job openings expected annually. This growth is driven by an aging population, expanded access to care, and the increasing role of physician assistants in delivering high-quality health care. ¹

Physician assistants work in a wide range of settings, including physicians’ offices, hospitals, outpatient care centers, government agencies, and educational institutions. As trusted members of the health care team, they provide preventive care, diagnose and treat illness, and help meet the growing demand for accessible patient-centered care.

The Master of Science in Health Science – Physician Assistant program prepares you for diverse career opportunities in primary care, emergency medicine, medical and surgical specialties, public health, health care administration, and academia.
