There are six courses and they will be offered once a year during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters so that one can complete the certificate during one academic year.

No. Each course can stand alone (i.e., independent of each other) and therefore, students can elect to take these courses in any order and start the program during any semester.
No. Participants can take the courses at their own pace and take more than one year to finish the program.
International students are not eligible for F-1 student visa sponsorship from the University of Maryland Baltimore due to the entirely online curriculum of the Certificate Program in Research Ethics. Students can participate in the program from outside the US without a need for a US student visa.
